The SanYi international church in Kun Ming

San Yi international Church was named as SanYi Holy Hall which was built in1903 and located in No 218Yuan Wu Chen Road of Kun Ming. After its establishment, it became the active center of Christianity inland commitments in Kun Ming.
Main hall of the church could contain about four or five hundreds people to worship. In 1936, the Christianity San Zi Patriotic Movement Commitment of Yun Nan Province was found. The office was set up in San Yi Holy Hall.
In December of 1984, SanYi Holy Hall resumed its worship activities. In 1986, It was turn into the office of two Christianity commitments in Yun Nan province. Owing to the requirements of city construction for road widening, The San Yi Holy Hall was removed in February of 1972.
The foundation laying ceremony of the comprehensive building of new church was hold in 22nd of June in 2003. And it was declared that the new church renamed as San Yi International Church. Through the efforts of one and half year, finally, the building of the new church was found in December of 2004.In 12th of December, thanks giving ceremony for opening was hold.
The comprehensive building of the church is in Gothic style. The construction area of the church is 4018 square meters.
First floor to the third floor of the comprehensive building is new church, the construction area of which is 2000 square meters. Forth floor to the seventh floor is the office sites of the two Christianity commitments of Yun Nan Province. The total investment for this building is 15 million.
From 1984 to the end of 2006, San Yi international church accepted more than ten thousand Christian. Now, in each Holy days, there are more than four thousands Christian attend the worship. There are eight employments in the church. Among them, Three are priests, four are preaches, and one cashier.
